Responsibilities: Updating and maintaining the public, intranet and adjunct websites of the Seattle Community Colleges District which use dynamic database-driven applications. Designing and implementing various sites for the district and upcoming events. With the district webmaster, assist and direct the student interns who comprise the district web team. Assist the webmaster with maintenance of the departmental budget. Maintain weekly backups of both the live and developmental sites. Updating of CIS apps used on district website when notified.

Accomplishments:
  • Currently working with district-wide team in the development and implementation of electronic timesheet web service to replace current paper-based system used by the district.
  • Developed and deployed several on-line surveys requested by various departments in surveying employees across the district.
  • Developed PowerPoint presentation of 2005-10 Strategic Plan Results for Vice-Chancellor of Education, Distance Learning and Planning for delivery at management meeting.
  • As member of the District WebTeam – recipient of the League For Innovation’s ‘Innovations of the Year 2005’ awarded to the student web team internship program.
INTERN - DISTRICT WEB TEAM November 2002 to April 2004
Responsibilities: Updating and maintaining the existing website for the Seattle Community Colleges District, developing, designing and implementing an Intranet for faculty, staff and students, creating dynamic database-driven applications, designing and implementing various sites for the district and upcoming events in a team environment.

Accomplishments:
  • Co-development of forum service for Intranet, migrating and revising an ASP-based forum application.
  • Full documentation of forum and Intranet developments as reference for subsequent web teams.
  • Creation of dynamic stylesheet and standardization of stylesheet format for Intranet.

Responsibilities: Trafficking of materials submitted for Quality Assurance testing. Maintenance of on-site and offsite file storage. Provide general computer application support as warranted.

Responsibilities: Complied data used for budgeting and forecasting personnel needs. Update / revise and develop new reports as warranted. Maintain in-line reports used by personnel within the Customer Satisfaction division of call center.

  • Created / implemented ‘on-line’ reports for the Customer Satisfaction division in an easy to use format.
  • Self-tutored Lotus 1-2-3 quickly developing proficiency with no prior knowledge of spreadsheet programs.

Responsibilities: Completed adjustments to customer’s accounts as requested. Assist the Reports Group as needed.

Accomplishments:
  • Received company award for compilation of statistics resulting in climate survey report used by upper management.

Responsibilities: Oversee vinyl, pattern and routing machine aspects of design department. Program via scanning or digitizing sign layouts for fabrication by automated routing machine and / or vinyl cutter.

  • Self-tutored on ESAB design station in order to perform responsibilities required by position.
  • Organized and structured position that was newly created while brought on board.
  • Self-tutored on AUTO-CAD as part of coordination with designers on transfer protocol from AUTO-CAD into ESAB.
